Sorry it has taken so long to get this up, but here is May 2012.
Cailyn's field day was so much fun. It was in the morning this year instead of early afternoon(thank goodness) and Cailyn loved her group of girls.
Jessica's class had some miniature horses come visit. They were sooooo adorable and very mild mannered. It was a good thing too, because they were completely surrounded by 4 and 5 year olds.
We were so proud of our sweet Cailyn. She has a little stage fright, but overcame it by participating in this year's Talent Show. She performed wonderfully. Sorry for the awful picture. I was juggling the camera and 3 other children. All the pictures were either unfocused or something was in the way.
Progress is still being made in David's room. Jason has even enlisted David's help. Hooray, give that boy something to do other than harass the females in the family.
Dad came over to visit one day and all the kids decided to get on the hammock with him. My favorite picture with him. We love you Da!!!!
Cailyn continues to run with Jason occasionally. This is a Sunday morning. I love that they have that time together. Looks like they enjoy it as well.
The girls made cakes for me at school. Beautiful job girls, I love them!
One Monday night for FHE we went to the city park for some "soccer". We had a great time. I think Cora loved it most of all. Every time Jason would start running she would belly laugh. I tried to capture it on video, but it didn't really work.
Just a random picture of Coralee.
Cailyn got to do a rockwall climb at school. I got there about 10 minutes after they had finished, but she said she got almost to the top. Wahoo!
Another FHE activity was to the lake. We had a great time. The girls kept diving into the waves. The water was a little "chilly" so Jason didn't really get in much, and David didn't stay in long. However, the girls enjoyed themselves. Definitely spending more time at the lake this summer.
1st Grade Awards Ceremony. Cailyn was asked to pass out programs. She made a goal to run 50 miles this year to get on the 50 mile wall of fame. She achieved that goal with 53.5 miles. She reached her AR goals and then some, recieved the Principal's Award, and was the first in her class to "Measure Up" We are very proud of you Cailyn and are excited to see you continue to progress in the 2nd grade.
The last 2 days of school were very fun. Jessica's water day was the second to last day of school. They had many stations of water games. She was loving it. And then they dried off while coloring the sidewalk with chalk. Even Coralee got in on the fun.
Below is Jessica with her teachers, Mrs. Whitehead(on left) and Miss Shelia(on right). We love y'all.
The last day of school was planned to be a water day for Cailyn's class, but it thundered and rained so it was cancelled. They did inside games and activities instead. They still had fun, but were a little disappointed.
Below is Cailyn with her teacher, Mrs. Elder. We love you and thank you for a wonderful year!
Memorial Day we went to Waco and played in the water with Da.
Next up, summer fun!
