I can't believe that school has already started. I would have said that summer was over, but as it is still HOT outside I don't think that truly applies right now. When I look at how long it has been since I last posted I get a bit embarrassed. SOOOO much has happened since then. I will try to update slowly to better my chances of remembering everything.
We took 2 vacations this summer, both several states away and we drove to both of them. Oh yeah, and we only had 2 weeks in between them. Crazy you say. I would totally agree. We have decided that we are not going to do that again, EVER!
Originally we were traveling to Utah for Jason's graduation. However, we discovered that there was no possible way to get there in time for the ceremony so we just made it into a family trip to Idaho(visiting Jason's family).

When you are from Texas and the summers are so miserable, you spend as much time outside as you can when visiting Idaho. And we did. We ate outside every night. Went to parks, Jensen's grove, and of course the beautiful backyard of Lita and Papa. Thank you so much for helping our summer be unforgettable. We love y'all.
Jensen's Grove:
predictable fun!
Church group sponsored activities:
face painting, picture frames, music, dancing, acting, and
oh yeah--- SNOW CONES!!!!
We had a lot of fun. Everyone enjoyed teeth changing snow cones!

Two weeks later we got back into the car(Da's car this time because our van broke down-luckily while we were in Texas and not somewhere on either trips) to travel to Ohio to have a little family reunion celebrating Tyler coming home from his Church Mission to The Dominican Republic. It was great to see him again(we missed you Tyler). Unfortunately I completely forgot our camera for the trip so I don't have any pictures. We had so much fun. Activities include: spending time with cousins, in-laws, Broadway shows, egg tosses, 5K race, musical catch phrase, IMAX, children amusement park, Church historical sites, Amish country, date night, lots of yummy food, etc. Basically FUN, FUN, FUN!!! It was hard to leave, and hard to get home. Talk about exhaustion.
We are home now and adjusting to our new schedule. We have big goals we are working on and I will share those as we are progressing with them.

What the 5 o clock?! I don't know that I realized you didn't bring your camera! I thought you meant on the night of phantom, not the trip in GENERAL! I can seriously send you whatever pics you want--I put a bunch on facebook too! Or you can steal them from my blog to put on yours--I feel so bad!!!! Wish I had realized earlier!
