I need help. No not mental help!(well, maybe) My 3-year old won't go #2 in the potty. She refuses to do it. She is bothered by wearing a diaper at night, but if I let her wear panties she holds her "poop" for days and then it hurts. She doesn't wet through the night, so the diaper is really only for her bowel movements. Can anyone give me some advice?

With Hannah, we have a bubble gum machine that sits on the counter and has regular m&m's in it. We started it when she was still having problems with going potty in the toilet.
So she would get 1 coin (penny) when she went potty and 2 coins for going stinky. She does both in the toilet now and we are changing it to getting 1 coin after being dry all day and 1 every time she goes stinky (just because it's still a big deal for her).
We tried stickers, sticker books, all kinds of other stuff, this has been the only thing that works for her/us. Good luck, I know how tough it is, we're still doing it, but getting better, so I know exactly how you feel.
lol! i have lots of ideas but none of them are very good. you know her father made her sit on the toilet for hours until she finally went. literally hours! i don't necessarily recommend that. good luck!
I don't have a solution. Just wanted to let you know you are not alone. My friend is having the same problem with her 3 year old son.Drives her crazy!...I'm just starting the potty training process with Parker.
